Tribute to Lung 1

Lung left us 45 days ago on January 10, 2010. He had suffered from a ruptured aneurysm on the afternoon of January 6, and went into a coma soon after. He was diagnosed by several surgeons from Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong, all of which confirmed rupture had severely damaged his brain.

Doctor explained an aneurysm is a localized, blood-filled dilation (balloon-like bulge) of a blood vessel caused by disease or weakening of the vessel wall. 1 in 50,000 people can have this; 1/3 will die on the street, 1/3 in the hospital and 1/3 can recover. But of the 1/3 that recover very few recover well. Aneurysm is pure bad luck and has nothing to deal with lifestyle or drinking or smoking.

Lung’s last days were greeted by family and friends from many places from the around world. Though all deeply sadden with his passing, we all believe Lung is in a better place, adventuring, having fun in his own way and style.

I still miss you a great deal Lung and hope you're well.

Love you always.
